COVID-19 Contingency Plan
Having recently added 1900 square feet to our premises, we have reorganised our workshops, offices and warehouse, allowing isolated work spaces for all of our staff. These work stations are reserved for their exclusive use. Internal travel in the workplace is limited to shared areas where all hygiene and distancing instructions as required by government authorities prevail.
In order to maintain continuity of service, we have divided the workforce into teams alternating between telecommuting and working in our offices. We're limiting the number of individuals present in our premises to 4. Our working hours will now be spread over 6 days a week. Our telecommuting technician team will be dedicated to urgent road service calls and technical support while our workshop technicians to urgent repairs, technical support, preparation of new instruments , as well as parts, supplies and web orders.Service On the Road (Service Calls)
Designated as a critical supplier by several companies and organisations working in essential sectors, we must unfortunately limit the availability of road service to customers in the priority sectors with pre-existing service agreements and / or a well-defined and verifiable COVID-19 contingency plan.
We ask you to limit service requests to emergencies affecting production and invite you to send instruments and equipment requiring secondary repairs and calibrations to the workshop when the situation allows.
Workshop Services
Our repair and calibration services will be maintained in shop for essential sector businesses.. Our Measurement Canada services will be limited to urgent cases in priority sectors. Measurement Canada exams on small equipment and periodical traceable calibrations will be suspended until May 3rd.
We ask you to communicate with us before sending equipment to our workshop so that we can prepare a work order before receiving your scale. Any equipment received at our workshop without notice could be refused.
Considering that the Coronavirus C-19 can remain active on metal and plastic surfaces between an estimated 3 to 6 days, we ask that all instruments (scales, weights, printers) be cleaned and disinfected before being sent to us. In the absence of an alcohol-based solution, we recommend conventional dish soap, its cleaning agents being recognized as safe for human consumption. Scales will be stored 24 hours before being assigned to a technician.
We ask for your cooperation by respecting the delimitation of customer areas as indicated on the ground, at the main reception and in the receving area in the workshop.
